The hiring contract is between the hirer and the owners of the cottages.
Any booking incorporates the conditions set out below.
1. The property must be used by the hirer for holiday purposes only.
2. Provisional bookings should be made by telephone or fax. The booking form
(which will be provided) must be completed and returned, together with a 30%
deposit, within 7days.
3. The balance must be paid two calendar months before the start of the
holiday date. If the holiday date is less than two calendar months from the
booking date then the full amount is due.
4. The period of let runs from 4.00pm (or earlier by arrangement) on the day
of arrival, to 10.00a.m on the day of departure.
5. The owner accepts no liability to any hirer or tenant party member for
any personal injury, loss or damage to property, however sustained or
caused, nor for the loss or theft of property or money.
6. The hirer is responsible for the cottage and undertakes to take all
reasonable care of it. To keep it secure and in a clean and tidy condition
and to report any breakage or damage immediately to the owner and to make
adequate payment to cover loss.
7.Under no account can the prescribed number of persons per property be
exceeded. Dogs are welcome only where indicated.
8. The owner and/or his representative retain the right to enter the
property at any time.
9. Linen: Rental of the cottage includes freshly laundered bed linen:
sheets, pillowcases and duvet covers (not cot linen). If you book for more
than one week then fresh bed linen will be provided each subsequent Saturday
if requested.
10. Cots and high chairs will be provided as requested.
11. Electricity, central heating and hot water available at all times at no
extra cost. The multi-fuel stoves are fuelled for one day, extra fuel may be
purchased locally.
12. Should the property be unavailable on the day stated all monies will be
refunded without question, In no event shall the liability of the owners to
the Hirer exceed the rental paid for the property.
13. While every effort is made to provide the amenities advertised, no
liability will fall on the owner should restrictions be applied in the event
of floods, drought, power cuts, or any other circumstances outside the
control of the owners.
14. Any complaint arising either on arrival or once occupation has commenced
must be brought to the owners attention immediately so that we may
investigate and endeavour to rectify.
15. Cancellation insurance is available on request.
