- Location: This traditional Welsh farm house has been recently renovated to an exactingly high standard, retaining many original features. Y Wern is off the beaten track surrounded by heathland and a National Trust common some of which is designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest. It’s location provides spectacular views of Carn Penberry, and across the peninsular to Carn Llidi, Ramsey Island and the tower of St. Davids Cathedral, some 2.5 miles distant. This undisturbed countryside, criss-crossed with footpaths, is home to a myriad of wildlife including badger, fox, peregrine falcon, hen harrier, heron, wildfowl, and a profusion of flowers, butterflies and dragonflies in the Spring and Summer – a pair of Barn Owls live in a nearby barn. For those that have bikes, boards, or other equipment there is ample storage. Perfect for a family holiday or a quiet retreat.
- Local: Y Wern is situated in a secluded rural location set amidst the Pembrokeshire countryside within easy reach of the cathedral city of St.Davids and it's facilities. The beautiful beaches of Whitesands and Abereiddy are also are within 2.5 miles and it is surrounded by quiet country lanes perfect for walking and cycling.
- Facilities: Newly redecorated and furnished with a range of modern appliances created to be a 'home away from home' Y Wern is centrally heated, making it an ideal retreat all year round.
- Living/Dinning area: Located on the ground floor with large dining table and chairs to accommodate 6, CD/Radio/Tape player, range of books and games leading to a comfortable seating area, flat wide-screen TV, DVD player and wood burning stove.
- Kitchen/Breakfast Room: Located on the ground floor with 4 ring gas hob, electric oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine (outside drying available), breakfast bar seating, full set of cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils, iron and ironing board.
- Bedrooms: 4 bedrooms comprising master double bedroom, twin room, single with raised bed (recommended for older children) and single room. All bedrooms are located on the first floor and are tastefully furnished with wooden furniture. The double is standard 4' 6'' by 6' 3'', single and twin beds are 3'' by 6' 3''. All rooms have a range of bedroom furniture. Bed linen and towels are provided.
- Bathroom: Located on the first floor adjacent to master and single bedroom comprising bath with shower attachment, hand basin, toilet and separate power shower served by a dedicated condensing pressure boiler.
- Externally: A spacious lawned garden to the rear, including patio with furniture and BBQ Area all of which is private and enclosed and accessed through the back porch.
